Visitor Visa in Denmark

Your Denmark visit holds hundreds of adventures! If you are traveling to Denmark for leisure, travel, or a conference, you should secure yourself a visa that is appropriate for tourism purposes. If you are coming from a country in the  Schengen region or you’re coming from an EU country, there’s no need for a visa to go to Denmark. The same applies to Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, and Uruguay. However, if you come from any other country, you may need to secure a Schengen Tourist Visa:

  • An accomplished application form from this link
  • Must have a passport valid for at least 3 months after your Schengen visa expiration date, issued in the last ten years, with at least two empty pages.
  • Copy of all the pages in the passport
  • Two identical photos following the photo specifications required
  • Roundtrip ticket to Denmark and going back to your home country
  • A copy of your hotel reservations
  • An itinerary detailing your entire trip to Denmark
  • Other supporting documents the embassy may deem necessary for your type of application

How to apply for a tourist visa:

  • Accomplish the application form and gather all needed documents.
  • Pay the necessary processing fee
  • Personally submit all your documents to the Swedish Embassy in your locale. You may search for the address of your embassy through this link: Danish Embassies
