Work Visas in Denmark

Working in Denmark can be a rewarding experience! The country’s strong economy allows its laborers to live a high standard of living while receiving rewarding compensation among many other benefits. If you are from the Schengen region or you’re coming from an EU country, you may not need a visa to go to Denmark. But if you come from any third country, you may need to secure a Schengen Work Visa:

  • An accomplished application form from this link, depending on the type of profession you are in
  • Must have a passport valid for at least 3 months after your Schengen visa expiration date, issued in the last ten years, with at least two empty pages.
  • Copy of all the pages in the passport
  • Two identical photos following the photo specifications required
  • An employment contract from your employer that is not more than 30 days old
  • Individual travel insurance that has coverage on medical emergency treatments, immediate medical care, or transportation costs amounting to EUR30,000
  • Documentation of your educational background
  • Other supporting documents the embassy may deem necessary for your type of application
