CV Format in United States

If you are about to make your CV, note that this should represent you first before you are able to get invited for an interview. Your resume should be tailored to the nationality of the company you are applying for and in this case, American CVs perfectly apply. American CVs are straight-forward and do not contain unnecessary information about you that may not be beneficial to the required skills of your employer. Keep it within one to two pages long, and make sure your CV is coherent enough to show how you have been trained for the profession you have attained.

Should you have a ready CV for your American employer, it is advised that you have it proofread by a native English speaker so you can note down any errors that you might have overlooked.

Below are the usual parts of an American CV.
