Visitor Visa in United States
The US is also a hot spot for travelers seeking leisure or business travelers who are to attend conferences or consultations. Before you think of applying for a visa, you may check if your country benefits from the Waiver Program for Tourists and Business Travelers. This program exempts you from getting a visa, and you may find the list in this link. If your home country is waived from having a visa, you will still have to register online prior to travelling to the USA. However, if you don’t find yourself in that link, you are to secure a nonimmigrant B visitor visa. The following documents may be required from you.
- Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application (Form DS-160), complete the online visa application and print out the application form confirmation page to bring to your interview
- A photo to upload your online application form with specifications found in this link
- A valid passport with at least 2 blank pages and expiration date at least 6 months from the date of departure in the US
- Application Fee Payment receipt
- Purpose of your trip
- Your intent to depart the United States after your trip
- Your ability to pay all costs of the trip
How To Apply:
- Complete the online application.
- Wait for the date of your interview.
- Attend the interview and submit additional documents should it be required.
- Wait for the notification of your visa approval/denial.
