Overview

Students on our Taste of Science and Engineering course will sample a range of disciplines at the centre of Warwick's science and engineering undergraduate offer.

Details

Each module will be delivered by subject specialists from a range of academic departments at Warwick.

Students will be introduced to and explore ideas beyond the typical school curriculum, so if you want to find out what it is like to study these subjects at degree level, then our Taste of Science and Engineering course may be for you!

Description of Ideal Candidate

Students applying for this programme must be aged 16-17 and considering applying or have already applied to university. There are no subject specific criteria but you should be a passionate and enthusiastic learner.

Cost/funding for participants

Pre-University Summer School Fee 2025

£4950 (inclusive of a £1000 deposit, required to secure place)

The fee includes accommodation for 10 nights, breakfasts, dinners (evening meals), refreshments, the social programme, all academic and skills teaching, the guest lectures, travel to London and Oxford, and all the activities on trips.

You will need additional money for lunches, souvenirs, any other drinks and snacks, and any shopping you may wish to do during the programme.
