The regulatory changes impacting audit practices across Europe have had a significant impact on the Restructuring practices of the Big 4 accounting firms leading to divestures and change previously unthinkable. There is a huge opportunity for growth and A&M has expanded its Restructuring practice significantly across Europe since 2017.
A&M’s established European Financial Restructuring practice enables lenders and corporates to clearly evaluate the risks and opportunities of their situation and their restructuring options. Due to continued growth, A&M France are recruiting ambitious Interns to join our Paris team for 6 months.
The main tasks will include:
- Support our Financial Restructuring team in Paris as they serve our clients in Private Equity, Corporates and Financial Institutions
- Research client information including company financials, business performance and additional key information
- Conduct research and analysis to contribute to client reports and recommendations including financial statements and financial analysis
- Prepare & update cash flow models and other financial models
- Utilising Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications to assist in creating client deliverables
- Supporting Managing Directors and other senior members of the team with client pitch production

Requirements:
- Studying at a leading “Grande Ecoles” in Business and / or Engineering, or equivalent
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise – especially in highly pressured situations
- Some Excel modelling skills
- Fluent business level English and French is essential. Additional European language skills including Dutch, German, Italian or Spanish are highly desirable
- Strong interest in a career within Financial Restructuring
