Job Description
Group Business Portfolio and Performance Management represents a function included within the Group Transformation Officer function. The main mission of Group Business Portfolio and Performance Management function is to assess local Business Units’ from the perspective of countries’ strategic positioning and local markets attractiveness, Moreover, the goal is to assess the local relative performance and identify corrective actions and/or opportunities for improvement with the aim to balance profitability, growth and sustainability. The function performs external and internal benchmarking analyses by studying market context and Group best practices, business drivers and trends, in order to provide Business Units with competitive insights (e.g. market data, peers evaluation, etc.), and strategic elements (e.g. market profitability, entry and exit strategies, etc), to successfully achieve the assigned goals.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- For Business Portfolio Management activity:
- Prepare ad-hoc deep dives on specific countries, leverage external market experts (when needed)
- For Performance Management activity:
- Collect peers public information in order to perform local benchmarking activities, comparing performances at local level with market and main peers performances
- Support the set-up of a global financial KPI database of the main peers, engaging also with Business Units with internal / external markets providers for qualitative check points
- Support Business Portfolio and Performance Management to collect financial public information, to prepare presentation/documentation and starting to feed a global database on financial KPI collected
