Overview
The BASF International Summer Course has a long tradition: Organised since 1949, it is designed to give young talents from around the world an authentic insight into the company's working environment and to facilitate networking opportunities.
Details
The event will take place from 24 to 30 August, 2025 in Ludwigshafen, Germany. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about a variety of research and technology areas, as well as about strategy and innovation management. The program aims to give them a comprehensive understanding of BASF's operations and the opportunity to interact with BASF colleagues. In small groups, participants will visit labs and offices to get an idea of what it is like to be a lab team leader, chemical engineer or data scientist. A guided tour of the site and plant visits will provide a deeper understanding of the Verbund site concept.
Overall, the BASF International Summer Course offers a unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience in a leading chemical company, broaden their knowledge in various fields, and establish valuable contacts with professionals in the industry.

Cost/funding for participants
