We shape BASF's future by defining the strategic framework. As part of the Corporate Center, we support our Board of Executive Directors in all portfolio and resource allocation decisions. We develop strategies, identify risks and opportunities and analyze trends in sustainability and technology. Together with the operating divisions, we develop strategies for the business and support their implementation.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

If you are looking for an opportunity to apply your enthusiasm for sustainability in a global company, join our team for a period of 6 months! As the world's largest chemical company, sustainability is a central part of our corporate strategy. In our Corporate Sustainability Strategy unit, we therefore integrate sustainability into our management processes, set global standards for our value chains and offer products that enable solutions for sustainable development. 

  • As part of our unit, you will take on tasks in the area of sustainability strategy and circular legislation with a focus on the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation.
  • In close cooperation with the team, you will analyze EU documents and summarize them for a wider audience, prepare public consultations and be responsible for the preparation of reports and presentations.
  • You will work with experts from different departments to achieve sustainability goals and gain valuable insights into the work of a global chemical company.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • current studies in the field of environmental sciences, sustainability, business administration, natural sciences, political sciences or a similar course of study
  • enthusiasm for sustainability and environmental protection as well as experience in the circular economy
  • willingness to familiarize yourself with complex issues and to present them in a concise manner for others
  • good analytical and communication skills in English
  • ability to work in a team as well as an independent and reliable way of working
  • good knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint
