Responsibilities would be, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports to BOC head office, Collateral information and local regulatory
  • Support the analysis risk data and trends and create reports for decision support
  • Support the analysis past results, perform variance analysis, make recommendations for improvements
  • Ad hoc reporting and data generations
  • Assist with information gathering for both internal and external audits and examinations
  • Support in the utilization of Operational Risk Management Tools
  • Assist in coordinating cross-border branches in submitting of Operational Risk and Internal Control related reports
  • Support in Business Continuity Management related tasks
  • Other various related tasks associated with the Risk Management department

Qualifications

Profile (Technical Skills):

  • University level education Master Degree in Finance, Management Accounting & Information System, Mathematics or Business Finance, Related Studies
  • Basic knowledge of risk policies, regulatory frameworks, and banking products and services
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Good knowledge of a programming language is a significant plus (Python, SQL etc)
  • Experience in synthesis of large amounts of data and written information
  • Solid analytical and technical skills
  • Excellent English verbal and written communications skills

  • Committed, confident, determined, self-motivated, strong statistical and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail orientated.
