Job Description

Your contribution to something big: 

  • Shape the future: Join an interdisciplinary team where you will design cutting-edge electronic hardware components, focusing on analog and communication circuits for embedded sensors in complex fire detection systems.
    • You will work with state-of-the-art physical sensor technologies to detect optical, chemical, and thermal fire characteristics, as well as communication circuits that enable data exchange with the control unit. 
  • Drive reliability: As our products save lives and protect assets, reliability is our highest priority. You will use model-based engineering methods, circuit simulations, and tests to ensure optimal performance.
    • You will be responsible for the electrical circuit design throughout the entire product lifecycle—from concept and development to production and end-of-life. 
  • Ensure excellence: Conduct systematic assessments, including statistical analysis of simulation results, reliability tests, and field data, to validate the quality and robustness of your designs.

Description of Ideal Candidate

What distinguishes you:

  • Education: 
    • Academic degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field. 
  • Experience & Know-How:
    • Good knowledge in the design of analog circuits and ideally first experience with the usage of PSpice or similar simulation tools.
    • Familiarity with PCB production processes and testing methodologies is advantageous. 
  • Languages:
    • Strong English communication skills. 
  • Working Style & Methods:
    • A proactive, structured, and analytical approach to problem-solving and quality assurance is expected. 
  • Personality:
    • Eagerness to learn, adaptability, and a passion for using skills to contribute to life-saving technology.
