Details
Main objective of the selected post holder will be the validation and analysis of Passenger tire new variations of case structures, starting from the analysis of current state of the art products, through BS internal simulations and actual tests, aimed to improve case deformations and its contribution to RRc, for BS next generation products.
To this purpose, the candidate will also be responsible to organize necessary testing sessions, elaborate tests results and prepare dedicated technical reports, for discussion with colleagues in the team.
Core Responsibility & Working relationship
- Benchmarking (organization and analysis) of the art Tires products in the market.
- Operate internal FEM system to simulate case construction and component effects.
- Prepare and run Design of experiments (DOE) including data analysis and technical report preparation.
- Day-to day operations within Tire Development process, including the definition of projects to realize the prototypes and organization / analysis of their tests and results.
- Work effectively with R&D staff and management of Bridgestone EMEA Technical Center, actively taking part to R&D cross-functional teams.

Job requirements
Master’s Degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering or any other related field of study.
- Experience in operation and troubleshooting of simulations software (Abacus) and meshing tools such as Hypermesh.
- Goal-oriented, motivated, creative and collaborative. Able to work within teams with strong communications skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
