Overview
Welcome to CEU’s Summer University, a very special postgraduate study-abroad opportunity in Budapest, one of the great capital cities in the heart of Europe.
Details
CEU SUN is a program for advanced undergrads, graduate students, postdocs, junior faculty, and researchers, as well as professionals who wish to upgrade their knowledge in a variety of areas in the social sciences and humanities, gain applied skills and build interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral networks. The courses, offered for one or two weeks in June and July on CEU’s Budapest teaching site and Vienna campus, are taught by international teams of scholars and practitioners and use CEU’s state-of-the-art academic resources and facilities.
Our courses are designed to use a broad range of teaching methods to enliven the courses such as intensive reading seminars, panel and group discussions, individual and group projects, presentations, field trips, etc. During the course, while faculty members present their topics through lectures and seminars, they also facilitate work on the development of participants' research and/or policy agendas through individual tutorials or office hours.
Check the course-specific eligibility and financial conditions on the relevant webpage of your choice. You can apply to no more than two courses.
