Overview

Within the Finance department, you participate in the monitoring of the global environment – macroeconomics, international relations, organization of the global value chains, regulatory reforms, competition landscape – and the assessment of their impact on the activities of the Group. Reporting to the head of Economic, Sectoral and Environment studies, you will contribute to monitor the macro-sectoral environment with a focus on determinants of supply and demand.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? 

  • You will contribute to improving our tools for monitoring the global macroeconomic situation affecting the sectoral situation by exploring external and internal databases and preparing presentations 

  • You will also study the ongoing transformation of the global trade system with a medium-term perspective, considering the impact of decarbonization. In this context, you will analyze public and proprietary databases to propose scenarios for future trade flows, focusing on sectors and geographical areas. 

  • In addition, you are responsible for reviewing relevant academic literature on the topic and for contributing to ongoing studies on trade diversification.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

  • You are currently pursuing a Master 2 in Economics. 

  • Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in French is a plus. 

  • You are skilled in computer and office tools, particularly Excel, and have experience with databases; programming skills in Stata, R, or Matlab would be an advantage. 

  • Your analytical mindset, intellectual curiosity, and strong sense of organization, combined with your rigor, reactivity, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively, will be key assets for success in this position.
