ABOUT THE TEAM AND THE POSITION

The IT and Facilities Services team, represented by Xavier, the Sr IT & Facilities Specialist, is responsible for ensuring seamless operations of our computer systems and equipment for the headquarters office in Geneva and our colleagues across Europe. The goal is to guarantee that every digital interaction and physical workspace functions flawlessly, empowering our teams to achieve their goals without interruption.

To assist Xavier in his daily job here in Geneva, we are today looking for an intern who’s passionate about IT, always eager to provide user assistance, and looking for a first experience during their studies. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT, providing invaluable insights into troubleshooting, project coordination, and operational support within a dynamic corporate environment.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

  • Provide Helpdesk L1/L2 support: Give timely on-site assistance to our team members, and  remote support (Europe), addressing all software, hardware, and equipment needs.
  • Resolve IT Incidents: Handle, manage, and close IT incidents through our corporate tools (Cherwell), ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Install IT Equipment: Perform meticulous installations of laptop computers (software and hardware), smartphones, printers, and various office equipment to ensure smooth operations for our dedicated staff.
  • Update Procedures: Building and maintaining Information Systems procedures as necessary, ensuring clarity and consistency in our operational protocols.
  • Manage Inventory: Ensure our company inventory is accurate and up-to-date, facilitating efficient asset management and resource allocation.
  • Resolve Peripheral Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with projectors, printers, and a range of other peripherals, maintaining the functionality of essential office tools.
  • Participate Actively in Team: Engage as a valued member of our IS team, actively participating in team meetings and contributing to company projects with your ideas and initiatives.
  • Assist in Induction: Contribute to the new arrivals/departures/movements by assisting facilities and setting up workstations.
  • Assist as needed in any Infrastructure project.

ABOUT YOU

  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor/Master's degree in IT
  • You are looking for a 6-month internship within a multinational company
  • You feel at ease with the main IT systems such as Microsoft Office/Windows applications, Microsoft Teams, IOS environment, Video conferencing system, SharePoint, etc…
  • You are very good at communicating and always happy to help your colleagues.
  • You are a self-motivator, proactive, and eager to learn and contribute to new projects
  • You are fluent in English (written & oral)

  • 6-month internship
  • CHF 2’500.- for Bachelor’s students / CHF 3’000.- for Master’s students
