About the role
DFDS Graduate Programme is a two-year fast track for recent graduates in a fast-moving business. With several acquisitions over the past few years and more on the horizon, DFDS is growing, and our Finance Division plays an essential role in this process.
The programme is designed to enhance your professional toolbox and provide insight into the path your career can take. During the two-year programme, you will have three different rotations. The programme will take you on an exciting yet challenging journey, placing you within diverse and talented teams in shipping and logistics. In addition, you will expand your competencies in various areas of finance getting hand-on experience with:
- Business Partnering, where you will strengthen your abilities within business performance analysis and expand your cross-cultural competencies.
- Forecasting process, learning how to identify which areas of shipping and logistics require in-depth analysis to improve business performance.
- Consolidation, accounting, and analysis.
- You will also carry out daily tasks that may include tracking and follow-up of customer profitability, development of new KPI reports, and assisting with management reporting for the division to senior management.
- Delivering analyses to management, highlight performance gaps and potential investment opportunities.
In short you will be working with many highly skilled colleagues across business units, core group functions, and with senior management.

Our newly built headquarters in Copenhagen is a unique and modern workplace where you can enjoy our game room, fitness facilities, cantina & café, and a rooftop terrace with a beautiful ocean view – all just 5 minutes from Nordhavn train and metro stations. This is where you will start your DFDS career, and in the second rotation you will experience working in one of our many offices outside of Denmark. We haven’t yet decided where you will go for the last rotation – but we will find something interesting matching your competencies and our business need.
