Responsibilities:
- Oversee system performance, stability and uptime
- Automate the environment and testing new technology fads
- Architect, implement, maintain and monitor our rapidly growing intercontinental production environment
- Manage not only “what” is running in production, but also “how” these systems are behaving
- Address potential failures and bottlenecks to proactively prevent obstacles

Description of Ideal Candidate
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of experience managing mission-critical infrastructure and software support (in a trading environment it’s a plus)
- Intimate knowledge of networking, hardware and OSs (Linux, Windows)
- Familiar with tooling and best practices regarding change, life cycle and incident management, as well as health and performance monitoring of production systems
- Proficient with scripting (e.g., bash, python)
- Quick at analysing issues and uncovering their root causes
- Eager to learn and understand all aspects of the trading environment
- Ability to spot inefficiencies and proactive in optimising systems
- Strong communications skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
