The Junior Marketing Automation Specialist will work along the seniors to support nearly 20 markets in executing global and local automated marketing programs. This role involves building strong relationships and collaborating closely with stakeholders in the global office in Copenhagen, Denmark, as well as sales and marketing departments worldwide. Fluency in English and a customer-first approach are essential for supporting the markets effectively.

Accountability:

This position reports to the Director of Marketing Automation in the Global Commercial Technology team.

Task and Scope of the Role:

  • Address service tickets related to Marketing Cloud and the "Interface" tool.
  • Set up new users for the Interface email tool and potentially for Marketing Cloud.
  • Support local email activities and creation on either the Interface tool or Marketing Cloud.
  • Update and manage existing local marketing lists.
  • Handle or implement files such as PDFs for local emails.
  • Create simple local email journeys of 1-3 emails for the markets.
  • Support reporting and statistics of Marketing Cloud email activities.
  • Manage and administer internal Demant users on email marketing lists.
  • Perform initial validation and qualification of leads for demand generation.
  • Make real-time email adjustments, such as last-minute changes (e.g., stop a scheduled email or make changes to a journey).
  • Perform ad hoc tasks, such as confirming the number of contacts/emails on an email-send list or identifying specific contacts/accounts.

Qualification Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other marketing automation platforms.
  • Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant preferred.
  • Proficient in email marketing: list segmentation, A/B testing, build, QA, deployment, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation solutions and data models.
  • Exceptional organizational, time-management, communication, attention-to-detail, and project-management skills.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and SQL.
  • Assist with templates, automations, quality control, and dynamic campaigns.
  • International mindset for a global setting.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with Sales Cloud CRM and other Salesforce products is a plus.
  • 6 months – 1 year of experience in Digital Marketing.
