Democracy Now! is a national, daily, independent, award-winning news program hosted by journalists Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez. Pioneering the largest public media collaboration in the U.S., Democracy Now! is broadcast on Pacifica, NPR, community, and college radio stations; on public access, PBS, satellite television (DISH network: Free Speech TV ch. 9415 and Link TV ch. 9410; DIRECTV: Free Speech TV ch. 348 and Link TV ch. 375); and on the internet. DN!’s podcast is one of the most popular on the web.

Fellowships
Democracy Now! Fellowships are paid, full-time, temporary work placements to help early career journalists and digital media professionals develop skills and gain experience in a daily live TV news environment. All Fellowships take place at our Manhattan studio where we produce our daily news hour.
Democracy Now! staff provide one-on-one mentorship and supervision to help Fellows maximize their exposure to newsroom, production and online publishing practices. Each Fellowship is offered once per year.

Applicants must have a valid US work authorization and be available to work full-time in New York City for the duration of the one-year Fellowship.
