EBS offers two fully in English taught Bachelor programmes - International Business Administration BA and Business Administration and Languages BA.

The EPAS-accredited International Business Administration programme is designed for people interested in economics and business who wish to acquire professional knowledge and skills to work in an international company or in the public sector. In addition to knowledge of economics and business, the programme also provides very good Business English language skills and an opportunity to specialize in marketing and communication or finance and accounting.  

How to apply for the scholarship:

  • when applying for the scholarship you have to submit your research proposal for your master's thesis;
  • the length of the case study solution is maximum 1 A4;
  • The research proposal should include:
    • Research object of the final thesis (Research object is an organisation, process or system you are going to study, e.g. the second pillar of the Estonian pension system, or start-up enterprises in Estonia)
    • Purpose of the final thesis (What is the intended gain?)
    • Research questions
    • Research design (Data, method of collecting data and method of analysing data)
    • Main list of literature

International Business Administration

Previous educationIn order to apply for Bachelor studies you need to have higher secondary education

For entering the International Business Administration programme which is instructed in English applicants have to submit result of an internationally recognized test of English on a required level of B1 as follows

Minimum score

  • TOEFL  iBT score  75
  • IELTS (International English Language Testing Service) 5.0 with 5.0 or above in each band. 
  • PET (Preliminary English Test)

Admission interview - In addition an admission interview will be held by EBS representatives via Skype or in office

Mathematics - High school mathematics result is required

Business Administration & Languages

Previous education - In order to apply for Bachelor studies you need to have higher secondary education

For entering the Business Administration and Languages programme which is instructed in English applicants have to submit result of an internationally recognized test of English on a required level of B2 as follows

Minimum score

  • TOEFL iBT score 87
  • IELTS (International English Language Testing Service) 5.5 with 5.5 or above in each band
  • Cambridge test-  FCE
  • BEC Vantage

Admission interview - In addition an admission interview will be held by EBS representatives via Skype or in office

For both:

The international English test certificate can be replaced by:

  • Finnish High School State exam result- magna cum laude approbatur (5 out of 7)
  • oral and written entrance test in English at EBS score min. 70%
  • the results in the English language test of at least 70% from an International Baccalaureaute school (with the instruction in English)
  • completion of the previous level of education in English in the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland

Cost/funding for participants

EBS Scholarship

EBS awards the Scholarships to Bachelor, Master´s and Doctoral first-year students, whose previous academic achievements, study motivation, social engagement and ambition are considered particularly worth recognition.  EBS awards scholarships to the applicants, who enrich the learning experience of their fellow students.   

All the applicants, who have received the positive admission decision (conditional acceptance or acceptance) are considered for outstanding applicants scholarship.
