Overview
Europe is experiencing exciting and challenging times. Digital tools and technologies are ever-more shaping our daily lives and transforming different sectors. The European DIGITAL SME Alliance is tasked to represent and support the main driver of such changes in Europe – small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the ICT sector. Representing over 45,000 SMEs through its national and regional member associations, DIGITAL SME is Europe’s first and largest ICT SME association. Along with the rapid acceleration of Europe’s digital transformation, the Alliance is growing and in need of motivated and hands-on students, looking to complete a curricular internship in Communications and Events.
Details
Your role and Responsibilities:
- Support social media activities (monitor social media, create visuals, draft copy, research and report)
- Update webpages and blog posts
- Research and write digital content
- Contribute to the organisation of physical and virtual events
- Attend virtual and physical events and take notes
- Contribute to ongoing and upcoming initiatives
- Data-entry for reporting
- Ad-hoc support as necessary

What do you need to join our team?
- Proficiency in English
- Enrolled in a communications, marketing or other relevant degree
- An interest in communications, tech policies and helping SMEs be heard
- Be a self-motivated learner
- Possess problem-solving skills
- General computer literacy, knowledge of CMS (Wordpress) social media and graphic design tools (Canva, Affinity) is an asset
- Understanding of tech policies and/or EU project management is an asset.

Please note that in order to be eligible, you need to be currently enrolled in university and willing to complete a curricular (unpaid) internship OR be eligible through Erasmus+ funding.
