Overview
The Labex GRAL program in collaboration with the University of Grenoble seeks applications for Master 2 scholarships. The candidates should be interested in any of the research topics proposed below by the groups associated with the GRAL program at IBS (http://www.ibs.fr) and BIG (http://big.cea.fr/drf/big/english/Pages/Presentation.aspx) and should enter one of the 10 Grenoble Master 2 program also indicated below. The successful candidates will receive from the GRAL Labex a scholarship of 8 000€ in order to cover the academic year from September to June, which includes 4 month of courses and 6 month of laboratory training. A maximum of 10 scholarships are available this year.

In the framework of the Chemistry Biology Health (CBH) Graduate School of Université Grenoble Alpes, the Grenoble Alliance for Integrated Structural and Cell Biology (GRAL) funds MSc (Master 2) research scholarships.
We seek motivated candidates who did not study for their BSc in Grenoble and are planning to:
- attend one of the following Master programmes (2nd year MSc / Master 2 / M2) at Université Grenoble Alpes (taught in English):
- Master in Biology:
- Structural Biology of Pathogens (SBP)
- Neurobiology, Neurosciences (NN)
- Physiology, Epigenetics, Development, Cell Differentiation (PhEDC)
- Microbiology, Infectious Diseases and Immunology (MIDI)
- Master in Plant Biology:

- PLANTA International
- Master in Health Engineering:
-
- BioHealth Engineering
- & do a research internship in Integrated Structural & Cell Biology at one of the labs associated with the GRAL programme in Grenoble: BGE, BioSanté, IBS, LCBM, and LPCV

Description of Ideal Candidate
The call is open to EU and non-EU students.
The candidates must not have studied in Grenoble for their BSc, and either have moved to Grenoble for the 1st of Master or move to Grenoble for the 2nd year of Master.
The student must apply to one of the above mentionned Master programmes at UGA and must contact the potential supervisor(s) of their research internship.

Cost/funding for participants
A maximum of 6 GRAL scholarships are offered to cover the academic year from September 2025 to June 2026, which includes 4 months of courses and 6 months of research internship for most programmes.
The amount of the scholarship is 5500 € paid in 2 instalments (4500€ in September and 1000€ in February) and an internship grant (‘gratification de stage‘) during the research internship (ca. 600€ per month).
