Job Description
Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance is a public-private partnership, headquartered in Geneva, committed to saving children's lives and protecting people's health by increasing equitable use of vaccines in lower-income countries.

KEY RESULTS EXPECTED
- Performance Management Process (PMP) follow-up with all staff to ensure completion of objectives in system;
- Learning and Development feedback data is accurately collected and automatically analysed;
- Timely and creative communication to staff on HR activities.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide support to Talent & Performance and Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) during 2017-2018 PMP process, inclusive of: objective setting assistance to staff and guidance of completion of competency assessment;
- Provide support on selected HR projects;
- Compile and design monthly communication to staff on HR activities as well as ad-hoc advertising;
- Regularly research new training opportunities for staff (e.g. webinars, podcasts) on relevant topics and add them to the training and wellbeing calendar as well as ensuring all existing training is up to date following any changes;
- Provide support for ongoing HR projects including: Pulse survey and follow-up, HR manual review, Global Health Campus, wellbeing and enhancement of key HR analytics.

Languages
- Fluent in English.
Academic Qualifications
- University degree or in the process of completing a degree. Ideally in HR, psychology, marketing or business but open to other candidates with an interest in this field.

Cost/funding for participants
- Interns who are not sponsored by their university may be qualified for a limited Gavi stipend to cover basic costs such as local transportation and lunch expenses during the internship. However, a stipend may not always be available.
- Gavi asks all interns and their supervisors to complete an evaluation form at the end of the programme.
- Interns are eligible to apply for advertised positions following the end of their internship.
