Keynote Speech
Themes of the speeches all regard having proactive thinking and developmental possibilities. From the four speakers of different fields, they will combine creative notions and real-life experiences to inspire delegates.
Workshop
After providing delegates with different perspectives on the keynote speech topics, we then invite the speakers to lead in-depth workshops. This encourages delegates to engage in deeper thinking and to incorporate individual strategic analysis or group proposals that can be applied to practical usages.
Action Project Competition
Delegates will apply professional knowledge learned from the academic topics on related fields. They will then discuss among groups, and with the help from industrial mentors, draft up feasible action plans and compete.
ANNUAL THEME: Empowerment
In this era of rapid globalization and digitalization, the speed of information exchange is unprecedented. As the world evolves, the younger generation faces both challenges and opportunities. GIS Taiwan 2025 will focus on 'Empowerment,' aiming to inspire youth to become a bridge connecting Taiwan to the world. This forum will not only facilitate knowledge sharing but also empower young people to face and shape the future.
With the goal of 'Cyclical Empowerment,' GIS Taiwan 2025 will expand Taiwan's perspective globally. Through interaction, youth from around the world will take lessons back to their countries, while Taiwanese youth will gain international experience, creating a virtuous cycle of shared growth. This is not just an exchange of ideas but a deeper connection that allows Taiwan’s youth to showcase their potential and vision to the world.
GIS Taiwan 2025 brings together elites from all various fields, ranging from businesses and academia to government bodies. We provide a platform for youngsters to exchange ideas, enter discreet contemplation, and eventually broaden their horizons while being inspired by distinguished peers or prominent speakers. Delegates can, as they gain a deeper understanding of the current world's development, realize the significance of 'breaking free from the chrysalis' to achieve self-growth.
THE STRUCTURE OF ACADEMIC TOPICS
After thorough discussions with scholars and experts, GIS organizing committee successfully collected a large amount of data on the current international trends to define the academic topics for this year. After careful analysis, the annual theme structure is split into three levels.
Level I - Annual Theme:
The annual theme represents the spirit of the overall GIS event of the year. It reflects the present-day trends of the international community.
Level II - Main Topics:
There are three main topics under the annual theme. Each carefully curated topic allows speakers and student delegates to have a more inspirational and deeper interactive communications.
Level III - Action Projects:
Based on the three academic topics, the impact projects are designed for the student delegates to collaborate with each other and dive in deeper to the topic itself, encouraging the delegates to do research on the given issue or scenario and eventually come up with ideas that make impact to the world.
