WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

Hilti Outperformer is a two-year graduate program that gives you the opportunity to dive into a variety of international projects and gain exposure to senior management. It's a fast-paced and exciting journey, but don't worry – you will have close coaching and mentoring every step of the way!

Within the program you rotate through various departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of our business and hone your skills in different areas supporting your personal development. The program is split into four main stages:

  • 5-6 Months Materials Management: Dive into the heart of our supply and demand planning, manage the forecasting of a product line and and experience the pulse of our business from day one. 
  • 5 – 6 Months Transport management: understand our transport logistics by tendering with suppliers and impacting our carbon footprint.
  • 5 – 6 Months Warehouse Management: Get a real understanding of operations and leading operational team members in our state-of-the-art warehouses. 
  • 4 Months on a Strategic Project: Apply your newfound knowledge to a high-impact strategic project, driving innovation and making a tangible difference. 

On top of that we will provide you with a 2 Months of Introduction & Projects in Global Logistics at our Headquarters.

Description of Ideal Candidate

WHAT YOU NEED IS: 

  • (Soon to be) completed master’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or similar.
  • You are multilingual – fluent in English plus another language or two – and you’ve gained international experience during your work or studies abroad.
  • You are internationally mobile.
  • You are a flexible team player, curious and dedicated, with good communication skills and the ability to inspire others.
  • A high learning agility, strategic mindset coupled with a hands-on mentality and a good cultural sensitivity and adaptability
  • A global thinker, eager to learn, who is keen for diverse cultural experiences and the opportunity to work abroad

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

  • Leadership development program – a comprehensive learning journey with IMD business school in Lausanne, Switzerland, with a qualification from IMD. 
  • Business management training – individual training at Hilti. A focus on behavioral profiles, personal strengths, leadership styles and communication skills. 
  • Global summit – 4-5 days at our global headquarters in Liechtenstein. A look at the way global business units function, plus the opportunity to further develop soft skills like situational leadership and international teamwork. 
  • Social project – 7-8 days ‘building a better future’. A hands-on and hugely impactful community project, such as our most recent: building houses for displaced refugees in Bosnia. 

After the program, you are prepared to take immediate responsibility and join one of our logistics, procurement, or operations teams around the globe.
