YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide business insights by conducting descriptive analysis, modern data mining techniques and visualization tools to help business stakeholders make better decisions
- Build machine learning algorithms to support the forecasting, prediction, segmentation, and recommendation for IKEA business
- Build operation research algorithms to support IKEA logistic operations

WHO YOU ARE
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's Degree in economics, statistics, maths, engineering, natural sciences or related majors is preferred. Part-time interns who can commit at least 3 working days a week. Internship should last for more than 4 months.
- Good command of SQL for data processing and analysis
- Good command of programming languages (e.g. Python, Java), including concepts from functional and object-oriented programming paradigms
- Good knowledge of data mining techniques, including regression, tree model, neural network, NLP
- Nice to have knowledge of Operation research theory, including linear programming models, non - linear programming. Be familiar with the OR use cases, including resource allocation, transportation problems, assignment model
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, network, and build strong relations with team members and stakeholders
- Fluent spoken and written English, CET6 is required. Need to adapt to the English working environment.
