ITI is the premier advocacy and policy organization for the world’s leading innovation companies. ITI navigates the constantly changing relationships between policymakers, companies, and non-governmental organizations to promote creative policy solutions that advance the development and deployment of technology and the spread of digitization around the world. ITI is seeking a Policy Fellow to reinforce its Europe office, based in Brussels, to work on policy and regulatory developments in Europe. Details
You will report to the Vice President for Europe and work closely with the Senior Manager Policy, Europe as well as ITI’s Policy Team in Washington, DC and the other ITI offices globally.
You will be responsible for:
- Monitoring relevant policy and regulatory developments at EU and Member State level.
- Communicating with ITI and its members regarding the significance of such developments.
- Drafting internal and external communication materials.
- Supporting with events organization and stakeholder outreach.
- Supporting the development of strategic and tactical approaches to policy and regulatory issues in Brussels and the Member States.
- Working closely with both ITI’s Vice President for Europe and Senior Manager Policy Europe in the Brussels office, and with ITI colleagues globally.

Description of Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a dynamic young professional with a good understanding of the EU policy context (including but not limited to digital issues). Understanding of the key policy issues affecting the tech industry is a plus. You will be well-equipped to support the Europe Team in preparing policy advocacy materials. You will also be a creative thinker and collaborative colleague who, consistent with the companies we represent, will seek innovative ways to achieve both the industry’s objectives and governments’ public policy goals.
Your qualifications:
- Relevant degree in international relations, public policy, law, business, or a related field.
- Full professional proficiency in English and another European language; good knowledge of French is a plus.
- Initial work experience, for example via internships, in public policy or public affairs/communications in Europe.
