Details
As a Junior Community Engagement Specialist at InterNations, you will:
- take ownership of a portfolio consisting of around 12 local communities, ensure all operational KPIs are met, strive to exceed targets and oversee the communities’ further strategic development
- recruit, onboard and empower volunteer community members on a local level, who organize regular events and activities
- provide individual support and guidance to our volunteers
- analyze key metrics and gather region-specific insights to contribute to the company’s financial performance
- monitor, diversify and ensure the high-quality of our communities
- be responsible for conflict and crisis management
- identify opportunities for operational efficiency and support cross-functional projects to optimize the user experience of our members

Description of Ideal Candidate
You meet the following requirements:
- university degree in Business Administration, Media Studies, Cultural Science (or similar)
- fluency in written and spoken English is essential (additional languages are a plus)
- career starter or 1+ years’ experience in domains such as Community Engagement, Community Management, Event Management, Account Management, Sales, Customer Support (or equivalent)
- affinity for social networking applications and platforms
- strong communication skills, assertive, reliable and calm under pressure
- open, collaborative and team player, with an affinity to work in a largely international environment
