Your area of work

You will be part of the Trading & Clearing Marketing team at Deutsche Börse Group. The team develops and implements marketing strategies for Deutsche Börse brands, including Cash Markets, Börse Frankfurt and Eurex, one of the world's largest derivatives exchanges, Eurex Clearing and Eurex Repo.

With team members in Frankfurt, Chicago and Singapore, we are an international team executing global marketing campaigns for all channels such as advertising, events, email marketing, websites with a strong focus on lead generation and thought leadership. 

As an Intern - Marketing (f/m/d) you will support the team in the marketing department in the development of marketing measures and website management via a content management system. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining data in our CRM systems using SAP Sales and Marketing Cloud. We are seeking someone with technical and communication skills who can interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs to support the CRM Team in their daily tasks. 

 Your responsibilities:

  • You will manage and maintaining customer data in our CRM system using SAP Sales and Marketing Cloud
  • You take responsibility for collaborating with the sales team to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer data
  • In addition, you will support the marketing team with various tasks such as campaign planning, execution, and reporting, creating landing pages and other pages within the intranet
  • You are jointly responsible for conducting market research to support the development of marketing strategies and campaigns
  • You will gain interesting insights in various tasks such Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) for CRM and marketing activities
  • Furthermore, you will support the team by setting up and managing email marketing campaigns using SAP Marketing Cloud
  • You will help the team with website management and editorial support for the Eurex websites via a content management system
  • You will be actively involved in the processes and work on various projects and independent research tasks in the area of marketing
  • You will also support the team with trade fair and event organization and prepare reports and marketing analyses
  • Moreover, you will also gain interesting insights into marketing and communication activities 
  • There are also general administrative and organizational tasks, such as processing orders and dispatching publications, promotional items and presentation media and/or creating PowerPoint presentations

Description of Ideal Candidate

Your profile:

  • You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least 2 semesters (Study focus in the field of informatics, economics, business studies or other relevant fields)
  • Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience in the context of Customer-Relationship Management and marketing, preferable in the banking B2B context. 
  • You are interested in field of Analytics and Customer Engagement through E-Mail-Marketing 
  • You have strong analytical skills, and you have an independent way of working. Thanks to your cooperative nature, you quickly integrate into the team 
  • You are organized and have curiosity that helps you to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics
  • Additionally, you have very good knowledge in Excel 
  • Furthermore, you are fluent in English, German and other languages are a plus
