Your Area of work
As an intern (f/m/d) you will support the Group Audit Executive Office - which is the Chief Administration Office for Internal Audit in Deutsche Börse Group - significantly in all key initiatives and projects. The mission of Group Audit Executive Office is P-R-A-I-S-E:
- Project Management in defining, driving, and streamlining initiatives/projects to implement the Group Audit vision and strategy, bring both into action and to foster internal communication, team development and knowledge transfer
- Report and deliver regularly and ad-hoc reports to DBAG boards and committees and service reporting to Group Entity boards and committees, business Heads/ coordinators and external stakeholders
- Automate, develop, and enhance the Group Audit Tool based on Group Internal Audit Teams and Auditees needs, drive additional automatization, digitalization projects and agile ways of working
- Inspire to promote Internal Audit’s value and findings culture to DBG
- Support continuously the development the Group Audit Methodology in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards and to foster its application in the Group Internal Audit Teams
- Enhance risk-based audit planning and support data updates and maintenance
The Group Audit Executive Office does not conduct audits.
Your responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for updating and maintaining the audit master data files
- You will gain interesting insights into project management, business acceptance testing, data analytics, reporting and will be responsible for the groupwide monthly reports and updating methodology documents
- You will assist in the execution of everyday tasks, projects and initiatives of relevance for Group Audit Executive Office
- Additionally, you will develop an understanding for collaboration with different stakeholders including management, project management, self-organized working in an agile environment
- You will be able to gain work experience in an international and diverse team

Your profile:
- You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least 4 semesters. Furthermore, we offer the possibility of an orientation internship, whereby you are currently in a gap-year after your bachelor's or master's degree in the above-mentioned fields of study - in this case, a certificate of enrolment is not required
- Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience in self-organized working, project management and in the financial industry area
- You are interested in agile working methods and obtaining new skills and knowledge
- Thanks to your cooperative manner and striving to deliver in time you quickly find your way into the team. Your very good analytical skills help you to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics
- You have very good knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel. Ideally you have also had experience with SAP systems like Analytical Cloud or similar
- Moreover, you are fluent in written and spoken English
