WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an intern, you'll support our Corporate Communications team on internal and external communication. Working closely with other colleagues in marketing & communications in all our markets in Central Europe, you will gain broad insight into BCG's employee communications in this region and external press relations in Germany.

The Corporate Communications team shapes how BCG presents itself both internally and externally—to employees, journalists, and the general public. Its responsibilities include positioning the Head of our region Central Europe, both in-house and in the media, and the strategic planning and implementation of various communication formats.

Your tasks will include the following:

  • Creation of content, text, and visual designs for various communication formats such as townhall meetings, newsletters, mailings, and videos.
  • Collaboration on the development of creative concepts for BCG's internal communication.
  • Monitoring the media landscape for opportunities to place BCG's content in the media and address current trends.
  • Support of the Media Relations team with research, briefings, and the preparation of BCG studies for journalists working at key business media outlets in Germany.
  • Support of the analysis and preparation of (media) reporting for in-house target groups.
  • Participation in daily and weekly planning meetings and support of operational organization in the teams (database maintenance, subscription management, etc.).

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • You are enrolled as a student at a postsecondary educational institution or have completed a course of studies (ideally in business management, economics, politics, marketing, media & communications, journalism, or the humanities).

  • You're passionate about communication and enjoy working creatively.

  • You enjoy writing and ideally have gathered some initial professional experience in journalism or communication.

  • You're interested in business topics and economic context.

  • You have a good command of the software comprising the MS Office package. Familiarity with Salesforce or similar mailing programs is a plus, as is experience working with AI tools.

  • Optimally, you have a basic grasp of graphics and video software.

  • Excellent German and English skills round out your profile.
