Not just that you will explore Belgrade and Serbian culture, but you will attend useful workshops that deal with burning issues of today's society using different methods such as: musical, video, photo.. International Student Week in Belgrade is an international educational and cultural festival that takes place in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, a.k.a the city that never sleeps. During one week in July you will be provided with the opportunity not just to be introduced to Belgrade and Serbian culture, but to participate in various workshops dealing with the eminent problems of today’s world society using different methods such as: biotechna, musical, yoga, photo, discussion, IT etc. Share your ideas and beliefs with your counterparts from all around the world in an environment free of prejudices, violence, xenophobia and hate speech. Get in touch with outstanding professionals in diverse fields and use gained experience in improving your own local society or for starting up your own projects!
ISWiB is a meeting platform for young people with different cultural backgrounds; it is a place to get to know each other, establish new friendships and discuss a variety of different topics, seen from various perspectives. Interactive lectures and workshops, group work and discussions, practical work, excursions and sport activities are designed to connect participants together and boost team spirit. By being brought into contact with other cultures, young people find themselves in a position to directly learn a lot from each other - they discover and explore similarities and differences between their cultures and realize that differences are not something to be afraid of, but something to enrich and enlightened our life views.
We especially encourage young people with disabilities, as well as members of other vulnerable groups, to sign up and participate. The festival will be adjusted to them in order to promote the importance of their involvement and connection with young people from Serbia and the world.

This year, #ISWIB2025 presents Unity in Diversity, a celebration of the power that arises when diverse perspectives come together. We believe that creativity thrives when different voices, backgrounds, and ideas are brought to the table. This project is all about harnessing the strength found in our differences and using that collective energy to drive innovation and change.
Unity in Diversity is an invitation to collaborate, learn from one another, and build solutions that reflect the rich tapestry of experiences we each bring. It’s a chance to explore how inclusivity, empathy, and varied perspectives can fuel creative endeavors that transform the world.

Are you communicative? Are you outgoing? Are you young and interested in contemporary social problems? Are you motivated to make a change? Do you want to share your opinion and ideas for a better world? Are you willing to spend eight days with other young people from all over the globe and work with them on a variety of problems? Do you want to present your country, its culture and customs to other participants? Do you want to have an amazing and unforgettable summer of 2020? Are you ready for a life-time experience?
If your answer is Yes, then you are the person we are looking for!
International Student Week in Belgrade targets all students. All fields of study are welcome, since we will be dealing with different problems from different areas of science, culture and society. Recently graduated students are also encouraged to apply.

Cost/funding for participants
Fee & Expenses
The participation fee for foreign participants costs 180€, and it includes accommodation, food (three meals per day), T-shirt, accreditation, as well as participation in the workshop and all the events during the festival. The participation fee does not include travel expenses.
