Headquartered in Luxembourg, Lombard International Assurance S.A. is an insurance carrier specialising in manufacturing unit-linked life insurance solutions. These solutions are distributed by various regulated intermediaries, including private banks, family offices, asset managers, independent wealth and financial advisers, wealth and insurance brokers, professional advisory firms and other advisers active in the private wealth sector.
Distribution Companies
The Group has a number of wholly owned investment and insurance distribution businesses who market and advise on unit-linked life assurance products manufactured by Lombard International Assurance S.A.

Your role – Are you ready for a challenge?
Your responsibilities within the data protection team will be as follows:
- Drafting/updating GDPR procedures and guidance notes
- Review and update agreements with appropriate data protection clauses
- Collecting management information for the production of data protection key risk indicators
- Developing generic and department-specific data protection trainings
- Providing support with the execution of the annual Data Protection Plan
- Providing support with data protection controls
- Advising Data Protection Champions in day-to-day activities related to data protection such as data protection clauses in contracts and agreements, privacy notices and update of their processing activities

Your profile – Have you got what it takes to become our Data Protection Intern?
- You are currently studying towards an academic qualification in Law or data protection
- Your internship is embedded on your educational program and mandatory for the obtention of your diploma
- You have strong communication skills. Verbal and written communication skills in English is essential. German and/or French would be considered an asset.
- You are autonomous, with delivery focus, hands-on approach and able to work in an international environment
- You are an enthusiastic team player and self-motivated
- You are able to cope with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- You have excellent analytical skills with a high degree of initiative, planning and organizational skills
- You are proficient in MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
