Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?
You will be responsible for implementing various improvements in our IT systems and digital tools, and for performing selected recurring processes related to supply chain planning e.g., housekeeping, KPI-reporting, forecast evaluation, etc.
In the Lundbeck supply chain we have in recent years implemented a new IT-system for planning, called Kinaxis Maestro. Our department, Supply Planning DK, is responsible for ensuring continued improvement of this system. As an intern you will get training in how to implement changes in Maestro and will use this knowledge, together with your existing skills, curiosity, and creativity to implement improvements, and assist with problem-solving in Maestro.
In Supply Planning DK, we have for many years worked with LEAN and since 2022 we have also started to work with concepts from Agile methodologies, so we can continuously improve the way we work. As an intern you will be part of this journey.
Your future team
- Supply Planning DK consists of 10 employees and is located at Lundbeck’s headquarter in Valby, Denmark. It is a part of the business unit Supply Chain, which employs 120 people in Denmark and France.
- You will join a team that is very focused on ensuring that Lundbeck produces the right goods in the right quantities at the right time to ensure product availability for patients all over the world.
- You will also be part of a team where everyone is enthusiastic about providing support to each other, continuously improving processes, and taking the time to have fun together.

What you bring to the team
- You are a bachelor- or master-student within supply chain or engineering
- You feel confident using and developing skills in planning IT-systems (E.g., SAP S4HANA, Kinaxis Maestro, Excel)
- You are curious, analytical and pragmatic
- You are open minded, take initiative and are not afraid to challenge status quo
- English (written & spoken) is a requirement
