Meta's Global Business Group contributes to Meta's mission by connecting every business in the world with their customers through solutions like Facebook & Instagram Pages and Advertising. Account Managers are directly responsible for building relationships and helping clients drive business results on Meta’s platforms through consultation, education, and support. Ideal candidates will have the ability to drive sales and data driven projects focused on areas such as account planning, product adoption, education and customer satisfaction. Success in this position requires exceptional consultative sales, coaching, and client service skills; a willingness to experiment; the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment; and a passion for helping others achieve results.

Account Manager, Intern Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in Facebook’s solutions for businesses of all sizes and adapt recommendations quickly to suit varying client needs
  • Provide dedicated account management to strategic advertising clients and agencies
  • Develop and implement programs to improve the client/agency experience
  • Consult and coach clients & agencies to achieve greater results on Meta's platform
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Identify opportunities to improve ad products and the customer experience
  • Work cross-functionally within sales and other Meta organizations to drive revenue and increase customer satisfaction

Description of Ideal Candidate

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelors degree in sales, advertising, business, marketing, communications, or related field
  • Experience working and collaborating within a team
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: French, German, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Arabic
  • Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Intent to return to full-time degree program after completion of the internship
  • Entrepreneurial and experience dealing with ambiguity
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks within an environment
  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
  • Experience or interest in customer sales and support, advertising and marketing, account management or consulting is preferred
