Manchester Met is making a limited number of Vice-Chancellor scholarships available, each to the value of £5,000. These scholarships are open to international students who enrol on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme.
There is a limited number of these prestigious scholarships. You will need to complete an online form and write a 500 word personal statement explaining your academic achievements, reasons for choosing Manchester Metropolitan and how your course will help you achieve your career goals.

Description of Ideal Candidate
- Aimed at: exceptional international students from outside the European Union, who will pay full overseas tuition fees.
- APPLICANT AND COURSE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- In order to apply, applicants must hold an unconditional or a conditional offer for an eligible course at Manchester Metropolitan University, starting in January 2021.
- If a student holds a conditional offer and applies for the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship, the scholarship can only be awarded once the offer conditions have been met.
- Only courses charging standard overseas fees of a minimum £15,000 and being taught on the Manchester campus, are eligible.
- Courses excluded from this offer: BA (Hons) Architecture, Master of Architecture and
MA Architecture and Urbanism. - Applicants must be self-funding and classified as overseas students for tuition fee purposes.
- Scholarships are only available for new undergraduate and postgraduate taught Manchester Metropolitan University students, former students and current students moving from one course to another are not eligible.
- Applicants will have successfully met any conditions set for entry onto the programme.
