The sustainability agenda is dynamic, with increasing market and regulatory activity. Within NXP, our sustainability mission is to enable a better, safer, more secure and sustainable world through innovation.
We have a great opportunity for an intern who is passionate about sustainability and finance to join our Sustainability Financial Reporting team who is in charge of monitoring the latest regulatory developments and working on the implementation of the various regulations (such as EU Taxonomy regulation, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive…) .
You will be at the heart of new professions and new skills which combine environment and finance. It will allow you as well to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment and understand the complexity of conducting cross-functional projects in a large group.
Your Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will:
- Participate directly in the implementation of the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (EU CSRD) and the EU Taxonomy regulation that are part of the EU Sustainable Finance framework, where you will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams (legal, sustainability, accounting, IT, businesses…). In these projects, you will help to:
- Document and deploy the methodology, including the systems, processes and controls
- Collect and analyze the (financial) data and use them to build the EU Taxonomy & EU CSRD reporting framework
- Monitor the sustainability regulatory developments and trends around the world
- Review 3rd party company reports and publicly available information to identify businesses’ strengths and areas of improvement
- Participate in any other project around sustainable finance

Your Profile
You are a student in Master’s degree or equivalent. You want to develop your skills in corporate finance but you also want to contribute to the treatment of the sustainability topic in our world.
Your main qualities and skills are:

Financial and accounting knowledge

Affinity with sustainability

Project management skills

A very good level of English is required (attendance to meetings / presentations with international team, reading and writing of documentation)

Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel), and if possible SAP

Team player that can work independent as well

Curiosity, rigor and a pro-active attitude

You are willing to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment
