OUR RETAIL TEAM IN ONLY STORES
ONLY STORES is Denmark’s largest Retail Fashion Company, operating with ONLY and ONLY & SONS stores across Europe. With an ambitious growth strategy, our goal is to establish additional 300 stores to our current 800 stores during the coming years.
As a Retail Management Intern, you become an integrated part of our retail team in ONLY STORES that are managing our stores across Europe. You will join a hardworking and dynamic team of colleagues, who you collaborate closely with in your daily tasks. We strive for excellence, and we want to continuously grow our retail business to take yet another leap ahead of our competitors.
YOUR ROLE
You will be introduced to and involved in the department’s daily operations, and you will from the beginning be given responsibilities that are vital for the department. You will be working closely with our area and country managers on a daily basis, supporting them in controlling and operation of the stores. This means you will be involved in planning, budgeting, strategy, target setting, expansions, and communicating with the countries. Some of your tasks could include:
- Daily analysis of numbers, including turnover and revenue in the stores
- Problem solving and following up on solutions implemented
- Collecting new knowledge and generating innovative ideas for how to develop the retail experience
- Visiting our stores in Europe to collect knowledge and initiate projects

RETAIL PROFILE WITH ANALYTICAL MINDSET
You are result-oriented, proactive, and structured, thriving in a fast-paced environment where no two days are alike. You work independently on your own projects and know how to convincingly present the results of your initiatives to our retail management. You are a strong communicator, and your social skills enable you to build successful relations internally as well as externally across the business.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in the Commercial & Retail Management Master’s programme at Aarhus University
- Fluent in English, written and spoken - German language skills are seen as an advantage
- Analytical and structured mindset
- Previous experience with retail is an advantage, but not a must
- Great communication- and collaboration skills
