The Team:

The Community team is part of the Global Value Engineering CoE which serves as the backbone of our Value Engineering organization, offering centralized functions that enable us to operate at scale effectively. These functions are designed to provide scalable solutions, targeted expert support for customer engagements, and to nurture fully ramped talents for our field teams.Our Community Team strives to establish a comprehensive hub where our customers can seamlessly self-serve, collaborate, and innovate. This team is building, maintaining, and developing community programs, platforms, and tools.

The Role:

As the Community Intern, you will play a pivotal role in fostering and nurturing a vibrant online community. Your primary responsibilities will involve managing day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless interaction, and elevating user experiences through proactive engagement strategies.

The work you’ll do:

  • Community Management: Spearhead interactions with community members, offering timely responses to queries, addressing concerns, and liaising with internal teams for issue resolution.
  • Supporting Community Groups: Assist in curating and moderating community groups, fostering discussions, promoting events, and encouraging active participation.
  • Community Enablement: Serve as a champion for our online community, providing guidance, training, and technical support to users while facilitating seamless navigation of platform features.
  • Content Creation: Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing plan, including editorial calendars, best practices, and weekly digests, while sourcing and sharing relevant content to enrich community engagement.
  • Keeping Community Content Up to Date: Ensure that community content remains relevant and current, regularly reviewing and updating topics to reflect the latest trends and developments. Verify the accuracy of community data to maintain a reliable information repository for users.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize data analytics tools to evaluate community performance metrics, gather user feedback, and derive actionable insights to enhance community experiences and inform product/service enhancements.

Description of Ideal Candidate

The qualifications you need:

  • BSc/MSc/MBA degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business or equivalent
  • Internship experience in Sales Operations, SaaS business, Consulting or Investment Banking (2+ previous internships are a bonus)
  • Strong background in Microsoft XLS and PPT 
  • Strong analytical and communication skills 
  • Results-driven, detail-oriented, self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Availability for 6 months+ due to extensive onboarding
  • Proficient in spoken and written English (German is a plus)
