Details
The "Laurea Magistrale" (equivalent to Master of Science) is obtained after two years of postgraduate studies and aims to provide rigorous, advanced training in specific sectors. Those who already have a Laurea (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) in a different field or have attended a vocational school and want to obtain a Laurea Magistrale (equivalent to Master of Science) certificate must first obtain the necessary credits. It is important to note that some specific study programmes in Italy continue to be five-year programmes in order to comply with the European Union regulations and to obtain official recognition. Once completed, the Laurea Magistrale programme gives access to a Doctoral programme.
Laurea Magistrale programmes under the School of Design and under the School of Architecture accept students only in the first semester of the academic year (September intake).
