Overview

To support the team, the trainee will be involved in a variety of tasks, such as the creation of brand resources, conducting market research, the creation of tracking sheets through smartsheet, updating of a variety of brand resources, organising meetings between the department and important stakeholders and lastly lead ad-hoc customer experience design projects for each brand.

Details

The Brand & Guest experience trainee primarily support the Brand standards and guest experience team members, as well as other members of the Brand & Guest Experience department as required. This means the trainee will support and be involved in projects on global and EMEA (Europe, Middle-East and Africa) level. The different areas within the team work together to ensure that the departments goals are reached and continuously improved. The departmental goal is to leverage brand equity, drive awareness and increase the efficiencies of marketing spend. In addition, the brand & Guest Experience team strive to validate the brand architecture and brand strategy and redefine the experience for each brand, in line with RHG’s strategic 5-year plan.

Key Responsabilities

  1. Support the Branding and Guest Experience department on global and EMEA level.
  2. Support the creation of brand resources (brand standard manuals, Tools & Products guides).
  3. Support the creation of creative assets, such as branded collaterals and digital elements.
  4. Project management through the creation of tracking sheets through smartsheet
  5. Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking and analyse market trends.
  6. Create presentations, for internal and external purposes.
  7. Lead ad-hoc projects in relation to the design of the customer experience for each brand.

Manage meetings with a variety of stakeholders, responsible for the agenda, minute-taking, follow-up and for ensuring delivery dates are met.

Description of Ideal Candidate

The Brand & Guest Experience trainee must have the following skills:

  • Experience in the hospitality industry (operational internship)
  • Proficiency in English and good communication skills
  • Microsoft Office expert user (Excel and PPT) and ideally knowledge of smartsheet
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters
  • Flexible, proactive, can-do attitude
  • Team player with a global mindset, able to work with a variety of different stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Customer oriented 
  • Autonomy and high feeling of responsibility
