THE RETAIL TEAM
As a Retail Management Intern, you will join SELECTED’s retail team, responsible for driving the management and development of our stores in Northern Europe. In October 2024, we began our exciting expansion into the Netherlands with our first stores, followed by Belgium in March. We’re currently building the retail setup at our headquarters, making our journey unique. This means you’ll play a significant role in establishing the foundation for SELECTED Retail in these new markets and contributing to the successful opening of new stores.
You will join a young and dynamic team of colleagues, who you collaborate closely with in your daily tasks. You will get your own areas of responsibility, develop an understanding of your colleagues’ tasks, and work closely with our stores on development projects. In our team, we are fully committed to achieving excellence, and we’re looking for a colleague who shares the same drive and mindset.
THE INTERNSHIP
You will be introduced and involved in the department’s daily operations, and you will from the beginning be given different responsibilities that are vital to the department. You will mainly be focusing on projects that can grow and develop our business. These projects could include:
- Store openings and openings in new markets
- Coordination of store opening processes
- Retail operations processes
- Initiatives for ways of working in retail
- Omnichannel initiatives – if you have own areas of interest, we are open to try them out

QUALIFICATIONS:
- You are enrolled in the Commercial & Retail Management Master's programme at Aarhus University.
- You speak and write English fluently.
- Experience from retail is an advantage, but not a must.
- If you have a general interest in fashion, it is considered as a plus.
