Hosted in Sciences Po Lille by MUNWALK society, this 3-day conference enables its participants to develop their diplomatic and soft skills by debating a wide range of topics, but also to discover the wonderful city of Lille.

Conference theme: Towards rights-based international cooperation on migration
Migrants’ transitory situations pose real challenges for the protection of people in terms of rights and development. Migration routes can be exploited by internal or cross-border criminal networks, generating a large number of human tragedies. Women and minors are particularly vulnerable in this context, as they are often targets of exploitation. The migratory crisis in northern France and in the English Channel between France and England illustrates these issues.
This year’s theme is a call to respect the human rights of all through international cooperation to facilitate effective border governance, as well as to reflect some of the issues at stake in our neighborhood.
