Siemens Mobility Limited are looking for an intern to spend 12 months with us on our Intern Development Programmed (IDP). This programme is designed to give you a solid foundation to help you with your degree and future career. You will interact with senior management, develop teamwork, and learn presentation skills (like how to create, structure and deliver killer presentations).

By the end of your programme, you will be equipped with the best knowledge and hands-on experience to kickstart your professional career here at Siemens Mobility. We are looking for bright, inquisitive students who want to make a difference. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Management of train maintenance requirements
  • Planning of resources to support maintenance activities
  • Planning of Materials to support train maintenance activities
  • Communication of plans with internal and external stakeholders
  • Management of safety topics
  • Monitoring of the Production Key Performance Indicators to ensure targets are met
  • Identification and Management of continuous improvement activities

Essential Skills and Attributes

We are seeking innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following;

  • Achieved or be on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Logical thinking, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change
  • Enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions
