Once a year, the most impactful and influential figures in tech journey to Voss, Norway to create Startup Extreme—a festival dedicated to bridging new relationships and fostering the growth of entrepreneurship internationally. We’re a vibrant, humble, and participatory festival—creating an authentic way to showcase the pulse of the Norwegian and Nordic startup ecosystems. It’s an opportunity to celebrate innovators, change-makers, and—together—inspire the future.
Leave your suit and tie behind and join us in the fjords of Norway. You’ll experience two days of outdoor activities, world-class speakers, thought-provoking conversations, performances, and much more.

- Network in Minecraft: We have rebuild Voss inside Minecraft. Login together with investors and startups and explore the landscape, or build your own space.
- Experience BASE jumping with the world’s best skydivers: The jump lasts for seconds, but the journey to the top lasts for hours. Join the worlds first Slow-TV show with the worlds best basjumpers and the Startup Norway team.
- Watch startup commercials, or create your own: Normally at Startup Extreme startups pitch in a rafting boat, this years challenge is to creating a selling and impressive commercial.

We bet it wasn’t in a raft, thrashing down rapids while sharing a massive smile and adrenaline rush. Startup Extreme is built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. We offer you a unique opportunity to showcase your dreams to a global audience, in an atmosphere that allows you to truly connect with people. Last year, investors and press traveled from six continents (unfortunately no Antarctic penguins) and more than 30 countries.
We are founders, investors, enthusiasts, executives, journalists, and students. All of us are making our journey to Voss to speak, pay-it-forward, grow our business, discover, support, and meet new people. Startup Extreme is designed for personal and professional growth at every level with the universal goal of generating genuine and engaging interaction amongst our guests.
