The 2025 Jan Tinbergen European Peace Science Conference will be held at the University of Barcelona on June 16-18, 2025.
The NEPS Lecture will be given by Lisa Hultman, Uppsala University.

The Jan Tinbergen European Peace Science Conference hosts presentations that address any issue relating to peace and security broadly defined. As ever, we strive for a multi-disciplinary program comprising contributions with a wide range of theoretical and methodological approaches, including strictly theoretical work, game theory and formal modeling, statistical and econometric analysis, qualitative studies, and experiments.

In line with Peace Science tradition, the NEPS welcomes scholars from an interdisciplinary community from a variety of disciplines such as economics, political science, regional science, mathematics, and history. Since 2000 NEPS holds an annual conference entitled ‘Jan Tinbergen European Peace Science Conference”.

Cost/funding for participants
NEPS offers financial support for conference participation on a need basis. Those with accepted submissions can apply via email (info@europeanpeacescientists.org) with a letter of application explaining the need for funding. While the support program is primarily intended for early career scholars, it is open to all. Funding includes a waiver for the conference registration fee plus a maximum of 800 Euros for travel and accommodation expenses, and will only be available at the close of the conference as reimbursement of valid payment receipts. Applications start on the day conference acceptances are communicated and close after one month. Since our budget is limited, support is offered on a first come first served basis. NEPS reserves the right to withold funding in case of absence of qualifying applications.
