Overview

A key component to the success of any non-profit organization is its people. As such, it’s no surprise that interns are essential to the success of the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute (CCAI), a leader in adoption and foster care policy on Capitol Hill and across the nation.

Details

Come intern with an organization that makes a national impact and learn about policy and Capitol Hill. Our interns have the opportunity to work with CCAI staff on projects that directly affect the impact of our organization.

Whether planning events, fundraising, communicating through social media, engaging Capitol Hill staff and researching legislation and policy, our interns leave CCAI knowing they were able to make a difference in promoting CCAI’s mission of children in families.

We currently offer internships during the following semesters:

  • Spring: January – May
  • Summer: May/June – August
  • Fall: August/September – December

CCAI also hosts fellows and graduate students, and coordinates with schools for externship credits. If you are interested in gaining experience in any of the following positions, please submit a cover letter and your resume to info@ccainstitute.org.
