Missions:
Integrated within the Regional Demand Planning Department of Estée Lauder Companies Europe, your mission will be based on 2 areas:
- Operational activities: reporting to one of the group's managers, you will participate in the elaboration of sales forecasts for one or more brands and/or markets in our portfolio in conjunction with the sales and Supply Chain teams. The activities that you will be responsible for will include for example:
- Support on sales forecasting for several Markets/Categories: updates in the forecasting system, management of the monthly cycle with several markets, analysis and recommendation on the category managed
- Follow-up of the good execution of new launches vs. forecast, and on promotional activities
- Assisting in the monthly analysis of KPIs - Key Performance Indicators - measuring the accuracy and precision of our sales forecasts. Analysis of causes (why-why method) and implementation of corrective actions.
- Weekly analysis of exception reports, and resulting actions, such as: master data maintenance in the SAP APO tool, recommendations on sales forecast adjustments, proactive communication to Supply Chain or business actors on important forecast changes.
You will be able to understand the reality of the Supply Chain business as well as the functioning of an international company. Learning the operational side of Demand Planning will also enable you to successfully complete the project part of your mission.
Project management: to lead an improvement project on a Demand Planning process ("WPI: work process improvement"). The objective will be for you to learn a methodology for improving existing processes, from the analysis of malfunctions to the recommendation of a solution and its implementation and adoption by the Demand Planners.
You will benefit from a training plan aimed at quickly familiarizing you with your work environment and giving you the necessary autonomy to carry out the missions entrusted to you.
One of the managers of the RDP team will be your tutor and coach throughout your apprenticeship. His role will be to ensure your successful integration into the company and to help you gather the resources that will enable you to succeed in your mission.

- Student from an engineering or business school, or postgraduate student with a Supply Chain specialization
- Good knowledge of computer tools (very good knowledge of Excel essential, knowledge of Access would be a plus)
- Fluent in English
- Quality of organization and analysis, good interpersonal skills, autonomy, strong ability to adapt
