Overview
This program draws on the experience not only of the "Graduate Program in Public Economics" but also of the Ph.D. in Economics (DEP) and of the Ph.D. in "Financial markets and institutions" (MEIF). The length of the Ph.D. Program is three years, starting at the beginning of November 2025.
Details
Our Ph.D. program is the result of the cooperation between two of the most prestigious Italian universities, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and Università degli Studi di Milano Bicocca.
The Graduate School original focus was on Public Economics. While we retain a penchant for this field, we now offer opportunities to carry out research in many areas of Economics, by relying on a large number of Faculty members.
Moreover, the Faculty now includes several researchers who are very active in the fields of Banking and Finance. The founding universities have a long and consolidated tradition of post-graduate teaching and research in Economics and Finance, and have strong links with both Italian and international organizations.
