Overview
WFUNA recruits volunteers who are interested in committing their time to helping us achieve our goals. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities on a continuous basis, and occasionally seek volunteers for specific projects.

Volunteering with WFUNA gives you the opportunity to meet and network with others who share your interest in, and passion for the United Nations and global issues.
We are grateful to our volunteers who gift us with their valuable time and are happy to provide them with letters of reference when appropriate.
Assist with the kiosk at UN Headquarters
WFUNA is privileged to be given kiosk space in the Visitors Center of the United Nations Headquarters building in New York. The kiosk serves two main functions. The first is to disseminate information about WFUNA and our member UNAs to the multitude of visitors from all around world; the second is to sell our merchandise. The Kiosk is open 7 days a week and relies solely on the generously donated time of volunteers. To volunteer, please email Joe Haddad at haddad@wfuna.org. Donate your professional services
Calling all photo/graphics editors and design students! Are you a pro at Adobe Creative Suite and want to donate your time to help a global nonprofit? WFUNA is looking for a volunteer to edit marketing materials for our stable of programs.
The volunteer will work closely with our Program Officers and Digital Media Officer on projects. Responsibilities include:
- Light photo editing (I.e. Resizing, minor color adjustments)
- Arranging content into design templates
- Photo research
- Light graphics editing
Time commitment: Ranges from 2–10 hours a week depending on the project.
This volunteer position is remote. Computer with Adobe software and Internet access are required.
